Harrison and Olivia re-shoot!

So I went back for a reshoot with Harrison and Olivia - this time keeping his clothes on!! He was much more relaxed and rested and I had some more confidence to move him into positions. I'm happy with the results!

Accidently made them to the left ...

Olivia & Harrison

I had my very first portfolio building photo session two days ago. I had high hopes for myself! It didn't really go as I had hoped. The poor little thing HATED being naked and was restless from the get go. After he was asleep I managed a few sneaky shots. But am going to try and re-shoot again in the next couple of days.

Big sister Olivia sat on the pillow I set up for Harrison. I took the opportunity to snap! Then she laid down on it! Too cute! Snap snap!

All decorated like a present. Although notice I didn't position his arms well enough. They look like chicken wings instead of resting sweetly under his chin!

Precious yawn. One of the first shots of him - and he was tired of it already!

Just having a play with the camera

In 6 days .. guess how many photos I've taken?
OK so now I've said that you're thinking BIG numbers right? ... so I've totally ruined the shock.

935!

Out of all of those there is about 20 I like. And most likely in 5 years time, this will be wittled down to possibly 1 or 2 and a "what the hell where you thinking posting these up here?"

But for the purposes of learning and getting this blog up and moving along, here are some I currently like. Mostly because of the fact I have the aperture, SS and ISO figured out!!! LOL

The first three are all Mummy shots.

A friends fresh baby! This was taken while he was in the car - but am getting some "proper newborn shots" next week! YAY!
